The Consortium of Engineering Schools (CEE) is launching a call for applications for 10 Doctoral Research Grants in Industrial Engineering and Management to citizens of Portuguese-speaking African countries or East Timor.
This Consortium, comprised of six leading Portuguese Engineering Schools, aims to strengthen the impact of Engineering in the Portuguese-speaking world by focusing on training and hiring PhD researchers from Portuguese-speaking countries.
The Consortium's members include the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC), the School of Engineering of the University of Minho (EEUM), the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT Nova), and the University of Aveiro (UA).
The CEE is now opening this competition for the award of 10 PhD research grants in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management, under the FCT Research Grant Regulations (RBI) and the Research Grant Statute (EBI).
These grants will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) under the Collaboration Protocol signed between the FCT and the Consortium of Engineering Schools (CEE), within the scope of the Centro Ciência LP, a Category 2 Center, under the auspices of UNESCO, in the field of engineering.
Registration will be open until 11:59 pm on April 27, 2023 (Lisbon time).
