The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DEMI) is a permanent organic unit of the NOVA School of Science and Technology |NOVA FCT, dedicated to teaching, fundamental and applied scientific research, and the provision of services in the fields of Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
DEMI currently has 5 staff members and 44 professors committed to providing the best learning experience and knowledge to its students, helping them develop their skills and achieve their personal and professional goals.
DEMI professors also collaborate, at different levels, with various public and private institutions, especially in the development of research projects in scientific and technological areas relevant to Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, aimed at meeting the needs of the society in which we live.
