DEMI/UNIDEMI once again participated in the European Researchers' Night, an initiative that aims to bring science closer to society by bringing engineering and technology to the public. More than 80  researchers of NOVA FCT presented the most significant projects and advances currently being developed at the School.

DEMI/UNIDEMI was represented at the Researchers' Night through an activity coordinated by Professor Ana Teresa Gabriel, with the collaboration of Professor Aneesh Zutshi, Master Mariana Peroyteo, and Professor Victor Ionita.

In this session, the professor and researcher presented practical applications of motion capture technology in the field of ergonomics, demonstrating how data-driven solutions can contribute to the transformation of work environments, promoting healthier and more sustainable workplaces. During the activity, motion capture sensors were used to provide real-time analysis of body posture, highlighting the potential impact of technological advances in the field of ergonomics.

The European Researchers' Night is an international event that takes place simultaneously in 460 cities across 25 European countries, constituting a privileged space for interaction between the scientific community and citizens, and reinforcing the recognition of science as a central element in everyday life.
