Professor Isabel L. Nunes, Vice-Rector of NOVA University Lisbon, was selected as an AHFE Distinguished Scholar at the AHFE 2024 conference. This prestigious award recognizes senior members who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and research excellence.
Isabel Nunes, an associate professor at NOVA FCT, has extensive experience in Industrial Engineering, particularly in Ergonomics and Human Factors. With over 100 scientific publications and a leadership role on several academic committees, her contributions to the field have been widely recognized. Since 2015, she has chaired the International Conference on Human Factors and Systems Interaction.
Her appointment as an AHFE Distinguished Scholar highlights her exceptional contributions to research and academia.
