The Faculty of Science and Technology | NOVA FCT is preparing to welcome a prominent figure in the field of logistics management. Dr. Yasemin Ülker, Assistant Professor at Bahçeşehir University and Deputy Director of CIFAL Istanbul-UNITAR, will join the UNIDEMI team from September 9 to 15, 2024.
Dr. Ülker's visit is related to her involvement in the COST project, named LIAISE (CA22110). This project focuses on the cooperation, development, and cross-border expansion of Industrial Symbiosis between industry and stakeholders. Her expertise is expected to contribute significantly to the project's success.
During her stay, Dr. Ülker will collaborate with the research team at UNIDEMI, the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Research Center, specifically with Prof. Radu Godina. This collaboration aims to advance the development and dissemination of the benefits of industrial symbiosis.
The visit is expected to intensify the exchange of interdisciplinary knowledge and drive innovative solutions among industry stakeholders involved in the LIAISE project.
