On July 19, 2024, the protocol was signed to launch the Leading Tourism & Hospitality Postgraduate Program, an innovative and multidisciplinary program that promises to revolutionize the tourism and hospitality sector. With the participation of more than 25 professors from eight schools at NOVA University Lisbon, the program offers a solid education, integrating advanced knowledge with innovative practices.
The program is designed to equip tourism and hospitality professionals with essential skills to understand and manage the complexities of tourism supply chains.
We highlight the course "Building Resilient Tourism Supply Chains," which will be taught by Professor Pedro Espadinha da Cruz, a DEMI professor who brings extensive knowledge in this area. Upon completion of this course, participants will be prepared to establish and manage resilient and efficient supply chains, ensuring the long-term success of the tourism and hospitality sector. They will be able to identify key stakeholders and their interactions, learn collaboration strategies, manage logistics flows, identify and mitigate risks, evaluate performance, and apply technological solutions for efficient supply chain management.
