Dr. Susana Duarte, Professor at DEMI and Researcher at UNIDEMI, was honored with the "Woman in Industry and Academia" Award by the Industrial Engineering & Operations Management (IEOM) Society International, an organization that aims to be the leading global organization dedicated to the development of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
This award recognizes Professor Susana Duarte's notable contribution to Industrial Engineering Education and her exceptional service in this field, as well as in Operations Management as a researcher.
The award ceremony took place in Rome during the Fifth European Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, organized by the University of Rome and attended by representatives from over 50 countries.
