The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering begins this new year of 2023 with a strong focus on the growth of its teaching team

DEMI begins 2023 with a strong focus on hiring new faculty for the areas of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management.

During the first two months of the year, the following were sworn in as Assistant Professors at DEMI:

• Professor André Carvalho
• Professor Miguel Machado
• Professor Moisés Brito
• Professor Pedro Espadinha
• Professor Radu Godina

This is a commitment DEMI will continue to pursue, as our goal is to constantly improve our educational offerings to always provide the best educational and support services to our students, so that when they enter the job market, they are recognized as professionals of excellence.
