On December 15th, at 11:00 am, a Mobility Workshop will be held in the Quality Laboratory (Room 4.01, Building VIII). It will present internship opportunities for Master's students at three prestigious Norwegian companies in the maritime and port industry: Klaveness Digital, BW LNG, and Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
These internships are fully funded by the M4ML project – Mobility for Maritime Logistics. The M4ML project aims to promote and support bilateral exchanges between Portugal and Norway for students, interns, faculty, and researchers in the field of Maritime Logistics.
The main objectives of M4ML are to contribute to the improvement of the Logistics, Engineering, and Maritime Management curricula of the participating academic institutions (FCT NOVA and NTNU); to contribute to the development of innovative teaching materials in the field of Maritime Logistics Engineering and Management curricula; and to encourage mutual learning between European industries and academic institutions in the field of the Blue Economy.
This project runs until October 2023 and is co-financed by EEA Grants* and the Portuguese Government (Directorate-General for Maritime Policy – DGPM) under the Blue Growt program.
* About EEA Grants
Through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway are partners in the internal market with the Member States of the European Union. To promote a continuous and balanced strengthening of economic and trade relations, the parties to the EEA Agreement have established a multiannual Financial Mechanism, known as EEA Grants. The EEA Grants aim to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe and strengthen bilateral relations between these three countries and the beneficiary countries.
