The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DEMI) at NOVA FCT announces the awarding of two Merit-Based Scholarships to final-year students of the Master's in Maritime Logistics. This award, sponsored by the Sousa Group, aims to recognize academic excellence and encourage the development of specialized skills in the maritime-port sector.
The honorees were Guilherme de Caires Gouveia Figueiroa Gomes and Dúlio Miguel da Silva Coelho, who achieved the highest grade point averages among final-year students of the Master's in Maritime Logistics in the 2024 academic year. Each scholarship is worth €1,000.00 (one thousand euros).
This initiative, a collaboration between NOVA FCT and the Sousa Group, aims to recognize academic merit and promote the training of highly qualified professionals in maritime logistics, a strategic sector for the national economy.
