On December 12th, a moving ceremony was held to honor and thank Professors Celeste Jacinto and Virgínia Machado, who retired in 2024. The event took place at DEMI, bringing together their colleagues to celebrate their long years of dedication to the education of so many students.
Professors Celeste Jacinto and Virgínia Machado played an essential role in the Industrial Engineering and Management program, leaving a lasting legacy within the NOVA FCT academic community. The ceremony was marked by moving speeches, in which colleagues highlighted not only the honorees' technical and pedagogical skills, but also their humanity, dedication, and ability to inspire.
