On July 23rd, researchers Helena Carvalho and Helena Navas participated in the Research in Asia conference, a NOVA initiative in partnership with Lancaster University. The event, promoted by NOVA In the Globe, will bring together researchers from Lancaster and NOVA, from various fields and across all organizational units, who conduct applied research in Asia.
Research in Asia aims to explore collaborative opportunities so that researchers with diverse backgrounds can work on joint projects that are applied or impactful in Asia. The event will feature working sessions with several researchers, followed by a session on NOVA's capacity-building projects in Asia and two discussion sessions – one on research and innovation, and the other on culture and science diplomacy.
