We are pleased to announce that Professor Dr. Helena Navas was recently elected Vice-Coordinator of RIQUAL – Quality Researchers Network. This election represents recognition of her academic and professional trajectory in the area of Quality, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement, as well as her active contribution to promoting collaborative research in this field.
Helena Navas represents NOVA FCT on the RIQUAL Coordinating Committee, strengthening the connection between academia and excellence in quality management practices. She is a Lean Leader and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Manufacturer, also representing the Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ) and NOVA FCT on several Technical Standardization Committees, particularly in the areas of Innovation and Project Management. She is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Portuguese Society of Metrology (SPMet).
RIQUAL is a scientific society that aims to foster knowledge, the sharing of best practices, and cooperation among researchers in the field of quality. The appointment of Professor Dr. Helena Navas to this leadership role is a clear sign of her merit and dedication to promoting quality as a strategic factor for development and sustainability.
