Diploma in Project Management Postgraduate Studies

The course of Project Management was first offered in the academic year 2007/2008 and provides the Diploma in Project Management Postgraduate Studies. The minimum number of credits for obtaining the diploma is 60.

Access Conditions for the academic year 2008/2009.

The main objective of the course is to promote specialized education in Project Management, providing professionally high applicable knowledge and technical skills, in preparation for international certification programs. The aim is to contribute, in a significant way, to increase the competitiveness of industrial and services organizations, public and private, providing access to either the state of the art in this area of knowledge, and the standards already established - Project Management Institute (PMI) ISO, International Project Management Association (IPMA).

The course is meant for professionals, businessman, managers, companies’ middle and senior staff, consultants, trainers or other liberal professionals who have a University Degree or a Bachelor Degree in the format prior to the Bologna Declaration or possess the degree (1st. cycle of Bologna) in Engineering or other degrees approved by the Scientific Council of FCT / UNL, or are holders of a school, scientific or professional CV which is recognized by the Scientific Council.
