Scientific Activity: - Coordinator and/or researcher of 32 projects in research, technology transfer and education funded by national and international authorities. - Author and co-author of 11 text books or chapters in text books, 29 papers in peer reviewed international journals, 26 papers in national technical journals, 55 communications at international conferences, 12 of which as invited speaker and 16 communications in national conferences. -Proposal reviewer of the European Commission, since 1996, for programmes as: Standard, Measurements and Testing, BRITE – EURAM, GROWTH, Marie Curie, Leonardo da Vinci. - Proposal reviewer of Portuguese National Offices since 1996, for national R&D programmes. - Reviewer of scientific Journals edited by: Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, etc.
