The mission of the Core of Industrial Technology (CIT) is teaching and research in the scientific fields of: industrial technology, mechanical behavior of materials, mechanical and thermal processing of materials, computer assisted production and integrated production.
CIT activity is developed in three main areas: research, training and technology transfer to the industrial environment trough the participation in R&D projects.
CIT collaborates in disciplines of its scientific area in Post Graduation Courses, Master and Doctoral Programmes within DEMI.
The Core has a set of highly qualified professors integrated in research units funded by the Foundation of Science and Technology as UNIDEMI and IDMEC with a high level of scientific exigency.
