Professor Duarte Dinis will host the seminar “Planning and Management of Aeronautical Component Maintenance” on 21 May 2026, as part of the Maintenance Management course unit.
The session will feature Carla Reis Medeiros from TAP Air Portugal Maintenance & Engineering (TAP M&E), who will share the company’s experience and best practices in aircraft maintenance. The discussion will focus on the challenges of planning, managing, and executing maintenance operations for aeronautical components.
The seminar will take place from 11:00 to 13:00 at the Leopoldo Guimarães Auditorium, CENIMAT Building, NOVA FCT. It is open to the academic community and to all those interested in engineering, industrial maintenance, and asset management.
This initiative offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the aeronautical industry and the operational reality of one of Portugal’s leading references in aircraft maintenance and engineering.
