Within the scope of the NOVA FCT Entrepreneurship Program, which runs from January 19 to February 13, a mentoring session was held on January 30 with strong participation from students and companies. Bruno Parra from Axians, Francisco Calvão from Deloitte, Anshul Punhani from Lauchyfi, and Paulo Silva Curto from Orianto were present, among other entrepreneurs and professionals specializing in various business areas.
The meeting became a central moment in the development of the business projects of these young entrepreneurs, master’s and doctoral students at NOVA FCT. The initiative allowed students to confront their ideas with the practical experience of industry professionals, fostering a more critical and realistic analysis of their proposals. The qualified feedback received proved essential for validating business opportunities, refining models, and aligning them with market needs.
In addition to its direct impact on the projects, the session also had a strong educational component by bringing academic knowledge closer to business practice. The NOVA FCT Entrepreneurship Program thus aims to equip students with the skills to create and implement sustainable business projects, combining academic innovation with the realities of the business ecosystem, and is sponsored by the Santander Foundation, AXIANS, Deloitte, NOS, and Jerónimo Martins.
