Professor Duarte Dinis delivered a seminar on January 22 at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, as part of the institution’s Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering.
The seminar, entitled “Uncertainty in Asset Management and Maintenance: The Case of the Aviation MRO Industry”, took place at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale (DIEF), part of the Scuola di Ingegneria, at the Centro Didattico Morgagni of the Università degli Studi di Firenze. The session was attended by faculty members, researchers, and PhD students, providing a valuable forum for scientific discussion on asset management and maintenance under conditions of high uncertainty, with a particular focus on the aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industry.
This initiative contributes to the strengthening of international academic and scientific cooperation, fostering knowledge sharing and the exchange of experiences between higher education institutions.
DEMI would like to express his sincere appreciation to Professor Mario Rapaccini and to the Università degli Studi di Firenze for the invitation and warm reception, highlighting the importance of such collaborations for the advancement of research and doctoral education.
