The public doctoral examination in Mechanical Engineering of André Geraldes Mourato will take place on December 18, at 10:00 a.m., in the Meeting Room (0.39) of the Conservation and Restoration Department in the Departmental Building , as part of the doctoral program.
During the session, the candidate will present and defend the thesis entitled “A computational and deep learning framework for fluid-structure interaction in ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms”, in which an advanced computational framework is proposed, based on numerical modeling techniques and deep learning, applied to the study of fluid-structure interaction in ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms.
The examination will be held before an academic jury and is open to the public, welcoming the participation of all interested parties.
