On December 9, at 2:30 p.m., the PhD examination in Industrial Engineering and Management of Catarina Dias dos Santos took place in the Sala de Atos of Building IV at NOVA FCT. The thesis is entitled “Development of a Fuzzy Model to Support Ergonomic Analysis of Lower Limbs and Define Requirements for an Exoskeleton”.

The thesis presented by Catarina Dias dos Santos focuses on the development of an innovative fuzzy model to support the ergonomic analysis of the lower limbs, contributing to the definition of key requirements for exoskeleton development. The work reflects interdisciplinary research with direct application in the fields of ergonomics, biomechanics and engineering.
